Zebra Danio

Brachydanio rerio
The Zebra Danios are small fish, typically about 2 inches long. They usually have 7 to 9 bluish stripes down their body which give them a zebra type look.

These fish get along well with most other fish and are great for a community tank. They should be kept in a group of 4 or more so they don't get lonely. They will chase each other and other fish but generally will not do harm to anyone.

This fish is rather easy to keep and will eat a variety of things, making it a good beginner fish for people setting up their first aquarium or for children.
